- Project brief: Make a hype video for the first ever MSIB Demo Day, using pre-existing photos.
The first ever Demo Day of AIM’s Master of Science in Innovation and Business (MSIB) was an historical moment for the school. AIM’s first foray into a science-centric course the MSIB was about to show the public what it had to offer by staging a showcase of student capstone projects to the academe and to potential investors as well.
We were tasked to do the hype video for Demo Day 2017 to help create excitement for the affair. At this point, we were very familiar with AIM’s aesthetics, but we decided to go on a very different tack than what AIM was used to. We went with bombastic “epic trailer” music, touches of fire and spark, and coupled them with some “techie” graphics and sharp transitions to create a hype video that got the job done with style and ooomph.
